We start with proper diagnosis using professional diagnostic and ECU programming equipment, then recommend the right fix: repair where possible, a replacement ECU set up to your car, or a specialist bench repair where that's the honest answer. Diagnosis starts from our £150 minimum service charge.

How mobile ECU repair works
We read fault codes and live data, and check the ECU's power supplies, earths and wiring — the cause is often outside the ECU itself.
If the ECU is at fault, we explain what has failed and the realistic options for your car.
Repair where possible, or set up a replacement ECU to your car by cloning or coding. Some faults need specialist bench repair — we'll say so.
We clear codes, check the car starts and runs correctly and road-test it before we leave.

ECU Repair Questions
How do I know if my ECU is faulty?+
Common signs are no communication with diagnostic tools, a car that cranks but won't start, warning lights that don't match any real sensor fault, or intermittent cutting out. Many of these are actually caused by wiring, power or earth faults, so we test those first before blaming the ECU.
Can every ECU be repaired?+
No. Some faults can be repaired, some ECUs need to be replaced and set up to the car, and some are better handled by a specialist bench repair. We'll tell you which applies to your car after diagnosis — we won't promise a repair we can't deliver.
How much does ECU repair cost?+
Diagnosis starts from our £150 minimum service charge. Any repair, cloning or replacement setup is quoted as a fixed price after we've found the fault, before any further work.
Do you come to me?+
Yes — we're mobile from our Staines base across West London, Heathrow, Slough, Reading, Windsor and the surrounding areas. A car that won't start doesn't need to be towed to us.
What if my ECU needs replacing?+
