Two very different services with very different legal implications. Here's when each is the right call.
DPF clean — keeps your car road-legal
Ultrasonic off-vehicle clean restores 90%+ of original flow on most filters. £250–£400, MOT-legal, no software changes.
DPF delete — off-road / export only
Software + hardware removal. Cheaper long-term, prevents recurrence, but illegal on UK road-registered vehicles. We only do delete work for off-road, export or motorsport use.
How we decide
Pressure test the filter first. <30g soot → forced regen. 30–80g → ultrasonic clean. >80g + cracked substrate → replace or (off-road only) delete.
The honest answer
If you intend to keep your car on UK roads, DPF clean is the right service. Delete is a niche service for off-road vehicles only.
