Every Euro 6 2.0 EcoBlue Transit Custom from 2016 onwards — 105, 130, 170 and 185 PS — plus 2.2 TDCi Euro 5/6 (facelift 2015–2016) that carry AdBlue on the higher-power variants. MOT emissions testing tightened in 2018 and a Euro 6 diesel with the SCR system disabled can fail the visual/smoke check. The 2.0 EcoBlue SCR system has a well-documented failure pattern — the DEF pump, NOx sensors (upstream and downstream) and the SCR heater are marginal on cold, short-run delivery cycles. Common fault codes: P204F, P20E8, P229F, P207F, plus the dreaded 'engine will not restart in 800 miles' countdown. A full ECU AdBlue delete kills the countdown, disables the sensors properly and stops limp mode from ever returning.

We attend depots across West London, Slough, Heathrow, Reading, Watford, Oxford, Uxbridge, Hayes and the Home Counties, work through 3–8 vans per visit, and issue a single fleet invoice. Volume pricing available on 3+ vehicles on the same visit; we can also work weekends and evenings to avoid dropping vans off the run.

Yes — the delete is done entirely in software via OBD. The physical AdBlue tank, pump and injectors can be left in place (many owners leave them fitted for easy reversal before resale). If the tank is already faulty and leaking, we can disconnect and cap it during the same visit.

No — AdBlue delete only disables the SCR/NOx side of emissions. DPF regeneration on the 2.0 EcoBlue continues exactly as before. Most fleet operators actually report smoother running and fewer limp-mode events after the delete because failed NOx sensors stop triggering false faults.
