The 7am-and-7pm shift-change windows generate the most predictable workload in HA1 — a junior doctor or healthcare assistant walks out to a flat-battery car after a 14-hour shift, presses the start button and gets nothing. The dominant cause is a 3-to-5-year-old AGM that has aged out, made worse by short hospital-car-park-to-home commutes that never give the alternator time to fully recharge.
