How long does a BMW AKL take?+
Typically 90-150 minutes on-site depending on platform. CAS3 around 90 minutes, FEM/BDC around 2 hours including bench-read of the module if required.
Does the old (lost) key still work after AKL?+
No — every previously-paired key is invalidated as part of the all-keys-lost procedure. Even if the lost keys are found later they will no longer start the car. Spare keys can be added at any time afterwards.
